Practice questions
Thousands of original questions, written for this site — no names attached, just the medicine. Pick what you want to practice, set a timer if you like, or run a full simulation of the real exam timing.
Unofficial. These are original practice questions, not actual USMLE or NBME items. Timing formats are verified from official sources (linked below) — always confirm current details in the USMLE Bulletin of Information before test day.
1. What do you want to practice?
2. Pick a discipline — or practice everything mixed
3. How many questions?
4. Timer
Overall limit = 90 seconds per question, like the real exams.
5. Answers
1. Which exam?
Which clerkship?
2. How much?
A full simulation is long — just like the real thing. Find a quiet block of time, silence your phone, and treat it like test day.
Tutorial optional
The real exam starts with a short optional tutorial. Skipping it adds the time to your break bank — same as test day.
How this simulation works: each block is timed exactly like the real exam. You can end a block early — leftover time goes to your break bank. Between blocks you can take a break (timed) or keep going. Answers are revealed at the very end.
